The National Trust The Scottish KitchenThis book published in May 2004 has a series of recipes some of which have been culled from the great properties owned or managed by the National Trust for Scotland. Families such as the Lorimers of Kellie have given family recipes and Christopher has worked in the archives of other properties to bring a rich variety of ideas. These are matched with more contemporary recipes which he uses in his kitchen at Myres castle. All the food photography was taken on location at the castle and the warmth and honesty shine through.

Scottish Heritage Food and CookingChristopher's third book is published by Lorenz Books and is co-written with his colleague in the Guild of Food writers, Carol Wilson. Carol has produced 150 recipes all of which have photos at various stages of the preparation of a dish. This is an ideal book for a first venture into Scottish Food and Cooking. |
